Ingredients
Mathaniya mirchi
15-20 nos.
Mutton
½ kg
Ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp
Ghee
2 tbsp
Catch garam masala powder
1 tsp
Onions (sliced)
3 nos.
Salt
to taste
Yogurt
½ cup
Coriander seeds
1 tbsp
Red chili powder
1 tsp
Turmeric powder
½ tsp
Mustard oil
2 tbsp
Chopped coriander
for garnish
Recipe Instructions
Step 1
Marinate the mutton with ginger garlic paste for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Soak Mathaniya chilies in warm water for 15-20 minutes.
Step 3
Grind the soaked chilies into a paste.
Step 4
Heat ghee in a pan and add garam masala powder.
Step 5
Add sliced onions and cook until they turn golden brown.
Step 6
Add the marinated mutton to the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Step 7
Add the chili paste, red chili powder, turmeric, and coriander seeds. Cook for another 15-20 minutes.
Step 8
Add yogurt and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat for 30-40 minutes or until the mutton is tender.
Step 9
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
