1 cup
Mooli (Radish)
1/2 cup, grated
Salt
To taste
Green Garlic
Chopped, to taste
Ajwain (Carom Seeds)
1 tsp
Recipe Instructions
Step 1
Combine the ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the makka flour, grated mooli, salt, chopped green garlic, and ajwain. Mix well to form a dough. You may need to add a little water if the dough is too dry.
Step 2
Roll the parathas: Divide the dough into equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle using a rolling pin.
Step 3
Cook the parathas: Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat. Cook the parathas one at a time, flipping them once they start to puff up
Step 4
Achieve crispiness: Reduce the heat to low and cook the parathas until they are golden brown and crisp on both sides. You can add a little oil or ghee to the tawa while cooking for extra flavor.
Step 5
Serve hot: Your Makka Mooli Parathas are ready to be served! Enjoy them with yogurt, chutney, or your favorite curry.
