Recipe Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the gravy base: Heat 1 tbsp butter and oil in a pan. Add chopped onion, chili, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 2 minutes. Add cashews and khus khus, and cook until fragrant. Blend this mixture into a smooth paste.
Step 2
Cook the methi: In the same pan, heat 1 tbsp butter and cook the methi leaves for 2-3 minutes until softened.
Step 3
Combine and simmer: Add the prepared gravy to the cooked methi. Stir in milk and corn kernels. Let it simmer for a few minutes until the gravy thickens slightly.
Step 4
Final touches: Add white pepper powder, sugar, kasuri methi, and heavy cream. Mix well.
Step 5
Serve hot: Your Creamy Methi Malai is ready! Enjoy it with roti, naan, or rice.
